The XUX9ARCNT16 is a Telemecanique Sensors (formerly Schneider Electric) General Purpose Photoelectric Sensor from the XU/Osiris series. It functions as a polarized retroreflective (reflex) sensor, which emits a polarized red light beam and requires a separate reflector (such as the XUZC50) to detect objects up to a nominal distance of 11 meters (36.09 feet). It is widely used in industrial automation for medium to long-range object detection.
