The Festo SMEO-1-LED-24-K5-B is a magnetic proximity (position) sensor. It detects the position of a pneumatic cylinder's piston by sensing its magnetic field. It features a block design, uses a reed-based measuring principle, and includes an integrated yellow LED to indicate when the circuit is switched.
